Everyone needs a lamp or two to cozy up next to while reading their favorite book. I know that is case for me. Table lamps add more than just lighting to a room. Lamps are the jewelry of a space. Table lamps add personality, style, and color to your home. Recently I am finding myself loving clear or translucent table lamps. I am not sure why I am so interest in these types of lamps. Perhaps it is because glass table lamps are interesting to look at. You are able to see through them which can create an illusion of more space. Not all of us have the luxury of a large bedroom. For some of us our bedrooms are small. This dilemma may be especially true for people who live in big cities like New York or Chicago. Arranging furniture in a small bedroom can be challenging but not impossible. If you think outside the box and use your space efficiently, a small bedroom can feel as spacious as a larger bedroom.
With all that being said, I do need some help from my fellow passionate interior designers and interior design enthusiasts. In my home the smallest of the bedroom has always been used as an office. I believe all of us have difference methods or processes when it comes to decorating our homes and apartments. So for this week’s discussion:
When you are decorating a room do you do it all at once or do you decorate a room gradually piece by piece? I mean do you find yourself decorating in a fast burst and finishing a whole room in a day or two (a Rabbit Designer of sorts)? Or do you decorate a room at a slow and steady pace over a few days or weeks (a Turtle Designer)?
